1. Algorithm analysis.  
  •  e.g. Finding time complexity of a program written in pseudo code.
  •  e.g. Writing 1 pass algorithms for sorting with some given constraint(s).
  
2. Microprocessor.
  • e.g. Use of 5-6 mnemonics only and 3 registers nad asked to write a
    program.

3. C-language.
  • e.g.: String operations without using standard string library functions.

4. Automata theory.
  • e.g. One nfa is given to accept bbb. To find a fsm that will accept aabb.
  • e.g. One fsm is given finding the number of string that it can accept
INTERVIEW:-
Both technical and HR.
  • In technical the conceptual question is asked from you from programming language, yours basics should be clear.
  • In HR they check the communication skill and the quality as a team leader in you.
