Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
written test was divided into three section of analytical, number and quant of 13,4 and 15 min respectively.
analytical was based on matrices type questions where they switch few no. to others and ask questions based on
that. another 4 min for simple no. series(easy) questions, next was based on quant . In aptitude speed was the
main aspect in qualifying the test.

in group discussion they were looking for good communication skills. They ask each and everyone to express there
views on the topic.it was decent one and try to speak base on content but not to babble out of context.

question he was emphasisng on were OOPS . what is inheritance, polymorphism,etc. and ask me to explain any
subject to him.

HR is always the simplest one. what they look for is your communication skills, be confident and speak slowly as
you and interviewer have plenty of time. he asked me common questions initially why would you like to join ibm?
tell me about ur academic background. as my interview progressed he was basically talking to me not rather than
askin questions ,like, why it is like some student even cgpa of 8.5 are not able to expalin the basics of the
subject.HR is mainly a formality and be confident in what you speak.

Try to brush up your basics....in any company u ll apply, they only look for basics and your logical reasoning.I wuld
like to suggest that try to read operating system, c/c++ and data structure as its not going to help you in ibm but
also in other IT companys too......best of luck...and phod ke aana.

well.. this was really a good one(first job what more to say)....bored in ppt but in the end it was refreshing and
party that follows....u will feel that.
