Be confident when you are answering. dont fumble. Prepare your final year project thoroughly.

There was a madam, she was very friendly. She asked me about myself. I put guitar playing as my hobby in my CV, so she asked a few questions from playing guitar. Also asked me to sing a song. I sang a John Denver number and she was happy. then she took the xerox copies of my documents. Asked a few more elementary questions, strength, weakness, results etc.

1. If you are in college uniform then it's fine, otherwise avoid dark shades. choose light colored cotton shirts and dark shaded cotton trouser.
2. Tie is not mandatory but it adds a few extra marks to your evaluation sheet.
3. If you are not fluent in english, use simple words and small sentences at the time of answering. Splitting up a lenthy answer into a pointwise manner will help too.
4. If you dont know a specific thing and the interviewer is asking from that particular subject, tell him/her directly that you dont know that.
5. Dont fumble and never expose that you are getting uncomfortable answering something.
6. Never extend your hand towards a lady interviewer for a hand shake. They wont feel happy.
7. Be polite, if you try to oppose your interviewer's point. Never show over confidence or arrogance.
8. Go through your final year project seveeral times.
9. Since OFSS is a financial organisation, be ready for some questions from Financial Managment or Industrial Management. They expect you to answer them.

There were almost 3000 students appeared for OFSS written test. Out of them about 350 students were called for the interview session. Finally they shortlisted 65 applicants from whole west bengal and offered job.
