Technical Questions asked were:

1. What do you mean by oil wet & water wet rock?
2. What is the meaning of Oil-Water-Contact?
3. How would you locate OWC?
4. How will you locate water table?
5. Suppose the rock is water wet so, tell me where will be the water table i.e. above OWC or below OWC?
6. What do you mean by Rigless Workover?
7. Draw the Ideal build up curve in Well Testing and tell the reasons for its deviation?

HR Questions were:

1. Tell me about yourself.
2. What are your hobbies?
3. Do you know the name of famous suspense story writer from Kolkata?

For Juniors I would say maintain a good GPA i.e. above 8.0 because in Petro GPA matters a lot.

Total 18 students from Petroleum branch appeared for the interview. Only 2 students were selected.
I think my internship with Halliburton helped me a lot. In technical interview I answered all the questions correctly.

Earlier I was rejected by Schlumberger, Cairn India, British Gas, IOCL & ONGC. So, I learnt a lot from these rejections.
