Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
Questions asked were only quant .All the questions were pretty simple. Prepare from quantitative aptitude for cat and all previous years asked question in TCS.

first question was "Tell me about yourself". Next they asked about project, prepare well and learn everything that is in your project and IT. I gave VB and SQl and C++ as languages known .
asked about difference between vb and C++. differene between procedure and function. also asked a basic prog in C++(how to write table of 2 which loop u will use and why?) which company made SQL.
Which is the latest OS in the market?

tell me about yourself is the question they ask by default.
tell me about your family ,your strength and weaknesses. why IT. asked if you did any certificate courses in any of the languages(i did not).how will u cope up with the mca's and other guys. what if u failed the tests(taken in the comp regularly) and end up miserably?

Talk gracefully , try to be lucid when u speak and always be confident.

it was my first interview and a great experience.
The interviewer was cool. it was a 1 on 1.
I was nervous for the first 5 min then everything just came into my mind easily.
I scored well in apti so i was confident that i will get through.
