Around 10 members visited the campus for the recruitment program.One/two for one.The candidates who possessed CGPA > 7.5; 75% in X and XII were directly called to the interview round.I have such eligibility.There was an aptitude test for others.There were two rounds of interviews in the process: 1> TECHNICAL 2> HR INTERVIEW
They emphasized more on the basics of the subjects.They ask more questions from your respective domains (eg:Questions from your projects,internships, etc..,) and interests.The interviewer asked me few questions from the basics of C++ and OOPS concepts.He took 45 min for interviewing me.Few Qestions were asked regarding technical part:
1>What is data hiding ?
2>Describe Inheritance?What is a base and derived class?
3>Can you relate inheritance with your bio-systems?
4>write a program for factorial x?
I answered every question as I read those just a day ago.
The interviewer was very friendly and looked cool.He talked to me as if he is a familiar person.I became very much confident after observing him.Then,he started asking some personal stuff similar to HR.Few are:
1>What is your college fee,mess fee and hostel fee?
2>Tell me about your schooling?
3>How can you differentiate your school life and your college life?
4>Today,What is your breakfast?
5>Hobbies,interests,etc..,?
Later, I was asked for queries;
1>In to which sectors/fields; TATA fears to go ?
2>What are the hierarchical levels in TCS up to CEO?
3>What is the reason for your company's low attrition rates?(Attrition means rate of losing job)
Likewise,Discussion went on for 45 minutes.I enthralled to have such person.
HR is again a repetition for me.This person asked me like
1>Tell me about yourself?
2>Tell me something about your favorite incident in your life? etc..,
3>Will you come prepared to the job with developed knowledge in IT subjects?
They test your confidence,communication skills and interest towards the job.They would like to know about the candidate's background.He took only 15 min for interviewing me.
Acquiring TCS job is very easy with confidence and basics of the subjects.Learn C and C++ whenever you find time or at least a day before your interview(esp. for biotech guyz).I think it will be good. Show your confidence before the interviewer.You should track your own path during the interview.Relate something to something as if you are creating everything according to person's perception.Drag the person to your own and instantly created world.Show your results at the end of the discussion. Wrong or Right; Stick aside. Do not panic.Be Confident.
