Aptitute test:Basic aptitude questions which are very easy ,from area volume,percentage,time and distance,time and work etc.
Technical test:It includes questions from c, cpp, few questions from DBMS.
The interview was basically focused towards object oriented concepts and programming techniques with little emphasis on unix.
They asked that whether i had done socket programming or not.When I responded positively,they asked various questions on socket programming including system calls and program structure.All the object oriented concepts were thoroughly enquired incuding polymorphism,encapsulation,inheritance,d elegation,persistence etc.Then they moved towards datastructures,before that they asked about my B.Sc background.Since I was an electronics grad,they asked me to write sorting type of program using only logical operators.This question consumed a lot of time because we discussed a lot about my programs complexity and ways to reduce it.After that they asked me to give a real time example which involved both double and circular linked list.They asked some questions on process,zombies,process states,deadlock,unix file system etc.
She asked routine hr questions like tell me abt yourself.your family background,strengths,weaknesses,where u see yourself after 5 years etc.After a good technical interview HR round is just a formality.

The overall experience was very good.the interviewers were very good and cooperative.You should be very strong in programming as well as formulation of logic to get a company like sourcebits.You shud be familiar with new open source technologies to have an edge over other candidates.The most important thing during an interview is your confidence and body language,even if u are not sure of an answer try to be calm and explain the part of the answer that u know well.Above all have faith in God if u are not through with some interviews and work hard.
