6.0 without an year gap of more than 2yrs and 2 back papers atmost ws the min.Eligiblity criteria to sit for TCS.
7.5 throughout career(i.e 10th,12th and present cgpa)will go for DIRECT P.I.I had it so went for the DIRECT P.I without facing the Written Test.

I was asked many technical questions related to C and my core Electrical Engg.Though,they were Basics like
1)What is the difference b/w C and C++?
2)What is a Pointer variable?
3)What is Ohms Law?
4)What is the difference b/w Earthing and Neutral Grounding?
5)What is the difference b/w Megger and Contact Resistor.
6)What is Kirchoff's Law?
My interview lasted for 25 long mins

My HR round also went long.The questions were like:-
1)Describe yourself in one word.
2)Introduce yourself-Here i said about my objective in life,my soft skills and technical ground,my hobbies etc.But,the H.R fired back for the reason that i said I have the Power of Speech and Can Convince any one.He said if u think so then,convince me right now.I said we interacted hardly for 2mins.M sure u wl b convinced by the end of this interview.He smiled back.
3)Why do u want join2 TCS?
4)How many Subjects do u have in dis semester?
5)If you are selected in tcs which area will you prefer?
6)What's the most craziest thing that you have done in your life?
I answered them well.CONFIDENCE and my COMMUNICATION SKILLS in English ws the key i felt.

1)Brush up your Basics with the Computer Languages which you know and u hv mentioned in your C.V provided that you aren't 4rom C.S or I.T background else you need2b thorough wid dem.
2)Brush up your Basics with the subjects of interest 4rom your branch that you have mentioned in your C.V.
3)Work on your COMMUNICATION SKILLS(english) and Be CONFIDENT.Interact Well.

Finally the result ws declared next day at 9.00pm.997 appeared and 708 were selected.My extra curricular activites,technical skills, communication skills, past achievements and Confidence did the Trick.
