1. What is a deadlock? How will you find if system is deadlocked, draw resource allocation graph for that.
2.Write a program to reverse a number without using any temporary variable.
3.Write a program to perform binary search on linked list.
4.What are different search techniques and which one is better for what situation, their time complexities.
5.Basic questions on pointers.
6.What is memory leak and write a program to find the size of bad memory( they were basically checking whether you can come up with a solution or not)?
7. Questions related to your project(mine was on JSP , Struts and EJB they asked basic questions on them).
8.What is a process and thread. What are the differences and similarities.
9. What is a TCP/IP and how will you implement TCP/IP using OSI layer model.

Around 50 students were selected on basis of their resume, main stress was on CGPA in our case all above 7.0 were selected for technical interview. There were 3 technical interviews and all were elimination round. Finally there was an HR round.

Do's:
Really good knowledge of C/C++ and programming.
Good knowledge of operating systems mainly processes, threads, deadlocks and IPC.

Don't:
Don't just remember the things try to understand them, your surface knowledge is not gonna help you.
Don't get panicked and lose your confidence if they ask you some implementation problems and you don't know exact solution because they are more bothered about whether you can apply what you have learned or not.

After 3 rounds of tech interview 13 people were selected out of which 11 were finally selected.
My C/C++ knowledge and my good programming skills helped me a lot.
Other than that my achievements in many Coding competitions left a good impression on interviewers.
