They first shortlisted us according to grades ... opened for CS/EC/EE only. i guess cutoff was 7+ . And then a two level written test was conducted . First round had 60-70 objective questions and in second we had to write codes related to trees, linked list.... then 20 selected for interview .. finally 7 got offer

R1:about my intern .. and one psychological question .."what comes to your mind if u imagine a scared man seeing a mango tree "... two simple apti questions and one code snippet whose output was asked ...
HR R2 : What you did in intern ? Where u see yourself in next 10 years ..? What you want to be... then the hr person started asking about ece deptt proffs.. as he turned to be a passout of ece'88 batch.....
R3:asked to write code for bit fiddling.... ROR .. right most bit becomes left most bit.... padding in structures ....why space of int char is diff in diff platforms... one puzzle i dont remember.... that's it ....

just be positive and even if you know the answer to question... dont spit it out as soon as interviewr finishes the question....make them feel that you dont know at first .... but after some thought answer suddenly clicked .... otherwise they may feel that you have read the question .... interviewers are more impressed if u show them how u deal with tuff situations and your approach.... i hope u got my point here...
