There was a course which they had offered named EXCEL.They conducted it for 12 universities across the Country.The selection process for this course was purely based on CGPA+10,12 marks.The students who were shortlisted for the EXCEL course directly sat for the interview..

Technical:I didn't study anything.I had returned from Pune after giving an interview at a B-School.I dragged myself in,half of me thinking as to what i was doing there.I was placed at TCS then, but was not satisfied with it.(No offence mean't..TCS rocks as it will always be the 1st company to offer me a Job!!).A SardarJi was sititng there.I remember his name,Vipinpreet Singh.He asked me to say something about myself for exactly 10 mins.His voice was very unclear.I started...
SardarJi: You didn't tell about your hobbies.
Me: Well, i interpret people,try to decipher what they are thinking..blah blah blah..
SJ:(He flipped open a rough paper) and said "Mere baare me 5 cheez likh daal,4 corrrect hone se tujhe naukri pakka se de dunga"..
Me:(Stumped)(Grinned like an ass-hole)..Started writing..Wrote some shit.
SJ:(Grinned) Said that 3 are correct and asked about my Girl-Friend.
Me:made up some Chatpata Story.
SJ:(Again flipped upon a rough paper) and asked me to draw a block diagram of a GSM system.
Me:That was the only thing i saw before entering the Interview Room.I got a feeling the today is my day.SJ went for a walk outside.I started drawing.
SJ was more or less satisfied with the answer.He asked some technical questions.I almost convinced him.
SJ:Dekh Bhai,I am putting you through the next stage of interview.Pick up some book and work harder.
Me:I was very happy as i was the 1st person whom SJ had passed.The guy before me was asked to GET-OUT.The guy after me had an interview for 4 minutes.Mine lasted for around 25 minutes.
HR Interview:It was decent.He asked some simple questions.Overall it didn't carry much weightage.

I never follow the conventional rules and i am no one to direct someone to follow a certain procedure.End of the day, you need the Job. Funda is simple.Do whatever you can to convince the Interviewer that you are fit for the Job.
People say "Don't lie in an Interview". But I have always lied.I even do the same in an Interview Room.
Do it in your own style. Be Frank. Believe that they are benefited if you join the company ant not viceversa..

Approximately the entire class was eligible for the process(40).12 students got selected.Among the applicants i was ranked 5th...

If you are good and honest to yourself and the people around you,If you believe in hard-work then automatically the entire Universe will conspire and ensure that you achieve what you deserve the most.It did sound like a gyan session, but in the end there were students who know 10 times more than i did and didn't get through.Some day's you are the King and that day was my day!
Readers might fall berserk after reading this, but that's my analysis of the Interview.
