yes , there was some eligiblity criteria - 1. minimum 60% (aggrigate) in bechalor of engg.
2. age limit - should not be more than 30 yrs
3. thre will be no running backlog at the time of interview ,also at the completation of the degree.

Interview details:
Technical- questions regarding Fluid Mechanics & Manufacturing Technology were asked & questions regarding project were also asked.

H.R.- Introduction,Questions regarding general knowledge was also asked.

You need to be confident at the interview desk. Answer the questions leniently and try to be a good listener to the questions being asked first. Try to be true and try to give answers to the point. You should try to prepare at least one or two papers with confidence so that if asked about your choice of interest you could go for that. Take preparation for HR as it is a very heavy judging factor for the industries and do not highlight your weaknesses at the interview desk.

....we have gone through a series of processes. initially there was a group disscussion among the student appeared for campus interview, next there was a personal interview. from mining engg. department 12 were appearing and all of them got selected in gd as well as pi and my rank was 4th.good project work ,positive attitude,good technical knowledge and good communication skill.
