shortlisting on the basis of cgpa criteria..

Most of the questions asked were practical based and of general type.
such as
1)What is synchronisation,how is it done?
2)Transformer uses,protection and relays used for its protection.
3)Different voltage levels used from generation to distribution. and why so?
4)generator protection and relays used in it.
They did not ask me about my favourite subject or so..but
concentrated on power system and its protection, they did
not ask any questions on my project also,but one should
be well prepared with their project too.

They first asked about family background,my studies till i
joined NITW,and few things which i mentioned in my
resume.

Be confident while answering the questions,know about
the company properly,dont just prepare one subject ,give
importance to all subjects and basics of it.if they ask about
your favourite subject, be ready to say atleast 2 or 3
subjects rather than single subject.On top of all maintain
good cgpa.

Panel members were friendly,they started with HR interview to make u feel calm and
comfortable and later with tehnical questions,there were 6 panel members
taking interview,few for HR and few for technical.
