few questions about motors and machines as i said tht my topic of interest are electrical machines and power
system. in machines i was asked:- name different machines and diff motors and their uses. in power system
protection about the different kinds in which power system can be protected. then evolution of relays from
beginning till now and what was tried to achieve in this development of relays(ans- selectivity, sensitivity, reliability,
fast operation). the time elapsed from the point when fault is sensed by relay till the circuit breaker opens.

I was asked to tell about my background. Then my weight n power of lens. I was asked tht do i read newspaper
and was asked few GK questions.. viz; chief minister of WB, AP, governor of AP, Vice president of india. my hobbies
etc..

pl pl pl dont get excited and dont refer any book/notes whn u r going to enter the room. be calm n cool n dont
show attitude inside the interview room. if u dont know anything thn just say sir i cant recall now or forgot .. hav a
smile on ur face whn the panel members crack a joke on you. speak slow but be to the point n make ur sentences
catching.
PS :- interview is just a discussion between the people whom you dont know. it just tests more of ur character n a
bit of ur technical knowledge.

first of all i was fully tensed before i entered the room. but i tried to be calm n composed. as HR round started then i
said about my background for 2-3 mins. still i was tensed and thn few GK qns added to my tension as i could'nt
answer a couple of them. thn technical round started and i answered few qns correct and was confused in
answering a couple of them.. so i said tht sir i m confused and forgot the answers and told them the theory for tht
answer. thn it got ovr in 10 min n till last i was tensed n thn i quietly moved out with a smile on my face.
