Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
The aptitude test was conducted by Professional Aptitude Council. It was an online test and had three parts:
1. IT Aptitude 2.Computer Knowledge(Basics) 3. Computer Knowledge(Advanced). The first part was easy, had 4
sections 2 math based sections, one flowchart based and one called attention to details. The second part had
questions on DBMS, OS, and DS. The third part was the toughest of all where a tree structure was given and 20
questions following it in java were asked to be solved in 40 mins. Pretty tough. Knowing Java is not a prerequisite.
There were four rounds of interview, 3 tech and 1 hr. They asked questions on what we had written in the resume.
You can mention your strengths like C, DS etc and dey ll ask u qns based on them only. I told C and DS. All qns to
me were asked based only on these two topics. In the 1st round dey asked me to write code for finding if a no is
prime or not, maintaning a linked list and quick sort. In the second round they asked me questions on strings,
stacks and a few puzzles like how many times does the minute hand cross the hour hand in a day, given 8 balls and
1 weighing less find minimum weighings to find the lighter one etc. My third round was more like hr than tech and
he asked y they should take me as i am from ece background etc.
In the final round dey just wanted to make sure that i would stick with them. Then they asked abt my family
background, y sg was decreasing each sem. y oracle? y me in oracle?
Oracle is one company in which a person can easily make through even if he does not know programming
languages very well. They ll only try to test your problem solving skills.
No. of Candidate applied And Points that Worked in Favour
It was a very good experience and all the interviewers were very encouraging and warm. The best i had attended till
then as dey only tried to test the thinking ablity more than knowledge.
