The aptitude test was just like any other aptitude test.It was very easy and you should give sufficient time solving<br />
logical reasoning questions as part of your preparation.Technical section was also very easy.Practice from any<br />
quant book available.

8 of us were selected for the GD and each of us were given one chance to play the role of the team leader.The<br />
format was as thus<br />
1.one candidate goes up picks up the piece of paper which contains a given case study and reads it himself---- 1<br />
min<br />
2.He comes back and discusses it with other people and reach a consensus ----- 5 min<br />
3.The candidate wose turn it i sumarizes in 1 min<br />
therefore it took 7 x 7 = 49 min.

They asked questions based on<br />
1. Transformer protection<br />
2. Basics of energy conversion<br />
3.power system--- lines,generators,regulation,reflection etc<br />
4.Reactive power-- use,what it is etc<br />
have an indepth knowledge of whatever u speak

Just basic questions on my background and what i know about tata power.Let them know that you really want the<br />
company if you are really interested.

Make sure you have indepth knowledge of your subjects including upto physics level.

It was a good experience overall, the personell were very friendly and conducted their business in a proper way.
