I was in the top 5 of MCA and was chosen for entry into interview process directly. Five streams were chosen for<br />
direct entry without written. There were two rounds of interview. Technical and HR.

Five subjects were touched upon. C, C++, DBMS, OS, Networking.<br />
35-40 min. panel: 2 members.<br />
C: what is preprocessing, what is macro, what is the difference between malloc and calloc, what is realloc.<br />
C++: How memory management is done in the C++, what would you do to avoid dangling references, what are<br />
object oriented conepts, what is inlining, what is polymorphism, what is function overriding and what is function<br />
overloading, what is abstract class and what is virtual function, what is pure virtual function, their prototypes.<br />
DBMS: what is a view, what are temp tables, what are pseudo-columns, is union possible between two tables which<br />
have different number of attributes or different types of attributes.<br />
OS: what is semaphore, what is its use, why it is necessary, what will occur synchronization is not there, what is<br />
the difference between mutex and semaphore.<br />
Networking: what are the sequence of system calls that are required for a server process in a client-server<br />
communication.<br />
How would you identify the missing number in a set of of integers in a range(1-10 or 10-15 etc.), by a single scan<br />
through the list.<br />
How would you add two numbers without using arithmetic operator +.

Tell me about yourself? Why you had a notch in your academics? detail about a recent news. give two reasons, why<br />
we should take you. what would you do if there is no work in the company.
