Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:<br />
In written test we have three sections.<br />
In first section (English)they asked Antonyms,synonyms,paragraph based questions.<br />
In Second section (maths) very basic questions like probability,mixtures and alligations,ratios,permutations and<br />
combination's,areas etc.<br />
In third round(Critical section) they have given three passages (Puzzles)and each has 4 questions.Please<br />
concerntrate on this round.

In personal interview they asked every subject which we have in our resume. They asked questions on Operating<br />
System,DBMS,UNIX,Data structures,Networking.He asked me to write code for the Deque program,while writing he<br />
asked so many questions about my extra curricular activities , he tested my patience.<br />
Some questions are like<br />
Types of Operating Systems,What is 3NF,What is hand held system,OSI protocol,Stacks,queues examples,functions<br />
of TCP/Ip protocol,Scheduling algorithms etc.<br />
Finally he asked me to write code for Swapping of 2 variables with out a temporary variable.<br />
In second round he asked me to explain the seminar which have given in my 2nd year, and some questions on Data<br />
mining.<br />
Finally he asked three logical questions like how will weigh an elephant,two are from probability questions simple<br />
only

Very casual questions like about family back ground, how will you rate your self in C++,about TCS,interest of<br />
working any where or not??, Strengths etc.Be confident in this round.

Be strong in Basics of every subject especially C++ and data structures.They are concerning only on Basics,they<br />
are not going in to depth of subject and more over they are checking patience and stress.If you are perfect in<br />
basics it is very easy to crack.I WISH ALL THE BEST...

It was very nice experience.Initially i was somehow doubtful,but after my first technical round i was so confident to<br />
get in to TCS.Because i did very well in first round.
