Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
In total 6 different sections were there. In section-1, there were 15 c questions.all consist of showing some output.
in section-2, it was analytical. some direction type question were there, some small puzzles. In section 3, it was
completely c++ error or out put question. In section 4, the question were on the basis of networking, o.s.,
compilers,some other tech. questions. In section 5, it was datastructure and algorithm questions. In section-6, we
have to write one short letter to the customer abt his probleb.all were of objective type questions consisting of 4-5
options. if now the basics it is quite simple.
there were two technical round. in first, they asked me the internel working of entire unix o.s. they asked me abt
compilation phases what will be the output after the call to ./a.out command in unix. they asked me 4-5 c programs
regarding will it be power of 2 in o(n),o(1) complexity.simple linked list prog. if u r given an array then the multiple
of the entire array in o(n) time.. means a[1..10], then a[1] should consist of multplication from a[2] to a[10].. so
on...
what is the significance of return(3) in c.... some fork...exec... command quest.
in second round they have asked me abt general problems..1) how many games will be played in wimbledon
consisting of 128 players... then i wanted the ranking from 1-128 in log(n) time.. i suggested max-heap...2) u r
given a text file consisting of millions of words how to find repeated words... i suggested hashing.... 3)show the
working of winzip software... 4) how to increase the efficiency of a unknown program which takes greater time to
execute comp. to other same prog..... 5)how to find whether there is a memory leak in a prog....
in all the technical round was good... if u read a little u can easily make it... if u know the answer just take some
time as u r thinking... this will keep some impression on them...
hr round was fantastic just they wanted to play with us.....
just keep ur head still and cool and answer them in gentle way...
just keep smiling every time........
just have faith in your-self and leave others to god.............
have pateince ..... no need to worry if u drop some starting jobs...
