Reasoning / Analytical : 10 Minutes

Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
The total aptitude test was for 60 min...first section A for 30 min,Section B for 20 min and essay writing(topic was
"your ideas on INNOVATION") for 10 min.
Section A had questions based on english like a sentence was a given in which a word's meaning has to be derived
based on the situation the word has been used...5 questions were asked like this.Next 5 questions were reading
comprehension...an easy one.....next 5 questions were based on...a small para was given and conclusions were
asked to make from that....totally english(20 questions) had to be done in 20 mins.....next quantitative ability...20
questions 10 min...very basic aptitude such as simple interest,compound interest,geometry,sequences...it was
easy....
Coming to section B,it was logical reasoning....data coding and de-coding was necessary...like ENGLISH is written
as MUSNCAPW.....then what is MATHS??we need to decode each letter correspondingly.....10 questions were like
this....
next 10 questions were based on C,C++....a little tough....need to know the concepts thouroughly

Personal interview for me was a bit easy because the interviewer just asked me to explain the logic rather than
writing the complete code.
1.Tell me about ur project on microcontroller(8051)...i.e the topic i have written for industrial training...he asked
what i did in IT and asked to write a code of my own for a program of my wish.
2.What is the difference between LUMPED and DISTRIBUTED networks?I said i'm not good at EMF.he also asked me
about HIGH FREQUENCY transmission line...i tried avoiding by saying i'm not good at EMF....
3.he gave me a C program...said there's a file in which i have blank lines...try to delete them and print the file...i
said him how to do and he was convinced....next he asked me about syntax and run time error.....
4.Binary search tree- pseudo code.
5.How do u search a word in a dictionary....extension of binary search tree(sorted list).....
these were the questions asked....it lasted for about 25 min and i was confident that i would be selected as he
ticked the form infront of me only.....
Some other questions:
6.difference between function overloading and overriding.........difference between delete and free........how to do u
find a given list is a circular or linear.....

HR was really very cool....he asked me about my family background.....about my ranks in AIEEE and EAMCET...he
got shocked to see my ranks as i'm from AP...our ranks will be very good....next he asked me Y ADP??y software
and so on....it was really very cool and easy for me.......

Be perfect with the basics of C,C++ and DS....for ECE guys....read one or two core subjects thoroughly...becoz
interviewers wantedly will test the knowledge in ELECTRONIC background....be confident while speaking to the
interviewer and don't try to bluff if you don't know....all the best.....

I think clearing the written test was little tough.Also,clearing technical was important..if you clear technical ur
almost thru.....
