Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
The 1st hurdle was the aptitude test.There were 3 sections - quant,verbal and logical reasoning having 25 ,30 and
50 questions each.The tricky part was that there was -ve marking.+1 for every correct answer and -0.5 for every
wrong answer. Individual cut off s were there.After the aptitude test we had to write an essay.They had given 2
topics and my topic was " Should animals be used for medical research-- to what extent??"

He asked me to explain what I had written in my essay and how I felt about it.Then he went on to ask me the
following questions.
1. What do you know about synchronous motor??
2.How does the motor manage different loads??
He then asked me which my favorite subject was and I said "Power systems".
3.What is switch gear?
4.What all equipment do you typically find in a substation??
5.what is a current t/f and why is it used??
Then he asked me for another of my favorite subject and i said "Industrial Management"
6.What is CPM/PERT??
7.Explain how CPM is used to management project time and cost??
Since i had a good idea about what ever he had asked, i was able to give him satisfactory answers.

HR Interview was very nice.
1. What is your background??
2.Do you have a passport??
3.Are you willing to work anywhere and abroad??
4.Any doubts about the bond??

You guys should have at least 1 or 2 subjects that you like and you should know them inside out.
As for the HR round just relax don not shake any part of your body(by that i mean dont show that you are nervous
by shaking your feet or torso), and answer what comes naturally to you.DO NOT BY HEART ANSWERS FOR HR
ROUND. Just have a basic idea on what your going to say.

It was a very good experience for me.The panel members made me feel really comfortable and even though it was
my 1st interview i felt really relaxed thanks to the panel members and the placements coordinators who were really
supportive.
