We have to undergo 3 rounds. First round was Written (full technical) ,Second round was Group discussion followed by the last round of Personal Interview which was again completely Technical and a bit HR ... Initially near-about 30 students applied and finally only 3 of us got selected. My rank was 11th .....

It was completely a technical round and they were seeking guys mostly for Drilling and Production so the questions were completely related o that only such as -
How we detect a Well-Kick ?
What's the use of IPR and its significance , inflow and Outflow performances and their curves..
How can we increase well's productivity ..
Draw BOP's Diagram and explain its different parts In what case a Blowout can Occur, How to prevent it..
What is a BHA , its different parts ,their uses etc etc
Questions related to Well Completions such as- use of Casing shoe, Float collar, Guide shoe etc etc.

Than there were hardly any HR question like one I remember was In case of a Fire- Break what will be ur first step Or reaction on a rig ?

I don't know weather I'm at the level from where I can suggest to other Peoples or not But Yup I can definitely share my Opinion

1) The first and the Far most thing is that We should have immense believe in ourself while facing any Job Interview that in Turn make you Confident enough ( But Overconfidence is always dangerous please avoid that also )

2) Secondly Prior to the Interview, Just try to develop the feeling that You are gonna give your 100% inside because its time to hammer and the opportunity we were waiting for

3) Apart from these moral boost up sort of things , We should be very clear and sound when a question is thrown on us. If You don't know Humbly reply that I'm not pretty sure about it or Simply I don't know and I will see to it.. It will create a Transparent image of urs

4) Prepare very well and with full confidence , never panic before Interview and during it.

5) Be very clear its just an interview and there are people inside not the Devils who r not going to eat us. sometimes we miss Golden Opportunities just because of nervousness ...please avoid it

6) And today's is the fast growing world . Be very good at Soft skills If u feel U'r lagging somewhere than please try ur hands on it. it will help us only.

I don't believe in Marks and Very good gpa and all though they decide a level and a cut-off but even than Good Technical knowledge in your area of interest, Confidence in yourself , Good soft skills , Good Project and also a bit of your Past achievements helps one to lift himself a level higher and the same thing would have happened in my case too..

and of course Parents blessings and God's grace if u believe in these things...
