In HUL the technical interview hovered around the basic concepts of fluid mechanics, the working of pumps, pump curves and The basics of separation processes (working of distillation columns and the various bottlenecks that arise in different situations like flooding and feed composition change). The special interest was taken towards the summer intern I completed in RIL, Mumbai, lots of questions asked about the technical details of the worked i performed there.

I guess a quick read of all coal types on Wikipedia helped me more than anything. Then again on a serious note, presenting a good picture is very important. While my first interview with HUL I wasn't prepared that well to phase the detailed questions about my intern, and it made me pay big time. So the only point is get the resume right and know your resume in and out. Preparing every point you wrote there is the foremost important issue, and by preparing mean if it's a HR point you should know the details by heart. If it's a technical point you not only have to understand every bit of it but also the related concept.
