Technical Interview

Technical round took place for about 40 minutes. They asked me my favorite subject in Electrical. I told them it was
control system. He then asked me to draw control diagrams of single area and two area systems. He then asked me
what else i like? I told him power electronics and he asked me questions related to that field. He then asked the
reason for venturing into Computer Science. He then asked questions pertaining to my resume that my projects and
other activities do not indicate any work done in Coding. He then asked me to write a program in C++. He asked a
few questions about OOPs and then asked me to leave.

HR Interview

The HR round took place for about 20 minutes. The interviewer asked me to tell him about myself. He then asked
me about my co-curricular and extra co-curricular activities. He then gave me a case study that I am a team
manager and they are 5 people working under me and the task is to complete a project in 4 weeks. Two people
hate me and they don't work. What would be my strategy after first, second and third weeks. Be prepared for
questions like Why TCS?, What do you know about TCS? and why are you changing your career path from electrical
to computer science?

Suggestion

Be good in your basic C/C++. Any one is sufficient. But be thorough with the basics. They look for the confidence
with which you are answering the questions even if you don't know it completely. Prove your leadership and team
building skills in the HR round.
