Details of the process and your contribution:
The Group Discussion was good. The topic was on Role of Engineers in Building our Nation. We were given 5
minutes to prepare for the GD. All the students were given a chance to put forth their views on the topic. Each of
the students participated eagerly in the GD making it quite competitive.

Questions were based on:
Basic Thermal power plant cycles such as Rankine and Brayton Cycle,
Renewable and Non Renewable Sources of Energy especially Wind Energy,
Project and Inplant Training,
Global Electives.

No separate HR interview. It was a part of the technical interview and consisted of my background information and
a strength and weakness question and my interest in joining the company.

Please don't get nervous in front of the panel members. Be confident in two of the subjects which you have studied
in college. Don't stammer and be confident in expressing your thoughts and answers both in GD and in Interview.
Be thorough withe the basics of all subjects in addition to the two you are confident. If you don't know the answer
please tell the panel you are not aware of the topic. And finally, know about your project. It helps a lot in your
interview.

Overall the interview process was really smooth. The interviewers were really friendly. I am happy I was able to
convince them to select me to work in their company.
