this is for the software test : the aptitude and quant section contained problems based on logic and less on calculations as
such . 20 odd questions of these kinds followed by 10 quuestions on general c and c++ nd DS all of the above in 30 mins
next a 1 hour programming/code writing test which had 4 programmes, whose code had to be written in 1 hour. one
question was on a variety of sorting or grouping of characters , one was on processor size manipulation , one was quite a
good programme on pattern of numbers generated by a given no of bits of 0's and 1's

the software technical interview revolved around software skills only for an ece student , questions were asked from c,c++,
DS and OS (depth of which depends on the student himself) next , general and basic knowledge in electronics was also
tested like those in stld, cao , digital elecs . thus a 40 min interview in software skills was follwed by a 20 min interview on
technical stuff in electronics

there was no separate HR for this job

for ece students , learn how to write codes ia given short time. also , apart from quant type questions , be prepared to
answer subjective type logic based questions also . also , a good grip on DS is also necessary and so is it in C , C++ nd OS
. the more knowledge in these areas , the better the chances . and also , knowledge of the basics in electronics proves to be
handy as they try to check whether the basics are strong or not..

the standard of the apti as well as the codes to be written was quite good . students having good logic skills and
programming will not it very difficult . the questions asked in the interview were quite good in their standard and the
interviewer was also quite friendly by nature.
