A random topic was to be decided by the candidates.
Our topic was "Social Networking Sites". Recruiter countered questions and they had to answered and he had to be convinced.

Q:Do you know OOPs concept?
A: Explained the whole concept.
Q: Did you cram it?
A: Yes Sir, Just 5 minutes ago.
Q: Did someone tell you the question?
A: No sir, I ddnt get the time to ask anyone because I was the second guy for the interview.
Q: Linear Programming?
A: Dont know.

Q: Why Mphasis?
A: Because Mphasis`s software section is not well setuped, its basically like a startup only. And as far as i know i can grow better in such a company.
Q: Why should i take you?
A: Because sir but i can give more output to the company than 'dont mind' most of your employees wont be giving you. Took an example from my Internship at Ericsson where the company earns 37$ per day because of my project which I did in 2 weeks.
Q: What are your strengths and weakness?
A: Sir, Hardworking is what every says and may be they have. My strength different in the sense that I am so enthusiastic that I will do anything of my interest and come with results even if I have to study hard for it. I am opportunistic and that can be seen from the research project i have. I dont have any interest in research, its just that i got the opportunity and didnt want to miss it.
Q: Did you write CAT?
A: No
Q: U ddnt write it or ddnt qualify?
A: Sir, i ddnt write it but that doesnt mean that if i would have written i would have or wouldnt have qualified it. I just ddnt write it.
Q: Will you be doing MBA in future?
A: I dont know sir.

Then there was some friendly discussion on my branch change and my college and Internship at Ericsson.

A Speech test. It was easy. Prefer a Landline because only one attempt is there.

1) Write what you actually do in CV.
2) Confidence matters more than your knowledge.
3) Communication Skills must be good.
4) Read "How to answer toughest 64 HR questions", a book on how to face interviews.

i think 38 cleared test,4 selected. My communication skills, past experiences and corporate exposure during internship, confidence and Fluency in English ( as my Speech test said).
