shortlisted students were called for GD.

GD conducted in grp of 9-10
we were asked to chose the topic.(other grps were given d topics)
Our topic was 'reality shows' and the HR guy participated in the discussion as well. he argued with students individually at last.
it was an elimination round and 3 were selected frm each group on average.
selected ones were asked to go on with automated telephonic interview.

duration :25 mins
it was basically an automated test which included tests for comprehension of english in foreign accents,pronunciation and fluency.
50% score on average was required to pass through.

der was a single interview mstly about the points mentioned in d CV.
i was asked 'why do u want to join mphasis'?
"why are u opting for a 'development job' when u hav so much interest in robotics(as reflected in my CV)",
abt my CAT score,

simple
technical questions like 'what is normalization'..(can u normalize an MS access database?) , 'OOPS concept'.

6 were selected (2 frm cse ,4 frm elex) in its 1st visit to ISM

An excellent score in aptitude test nd decent performance in other rounds will help sail through !
