quiet easy one for me,they just chek your confidence and communication skills

prepare the questions like,"tell me about ur self?" and u should be able to explain your project,besides this be confident in the way you behave and the way you speak.

it was an online written tes,16 were shortlisted in written and finally two cleared the interview..i was one of them.To be at syntel u need a good communication skill,and confidence to speak up
