Aptitude - 20 questions. Good difficult one's. Actually it takes more than 30 mins to answer all the 20. So, speed and
selection of questions is very crucial.If u correctly manage the time 20mins is sufficient for that. It Completely depends on
your selection . Technical - 20 c++ program bits. Concentrated more on OOP concepts and some c puzzles. 20mins is
sufficient for well prepared man in these areas. Program - A datastructures problem(sorting) is given, and we have to write
an efficient algorithm with time complexity of O(nlogn). 15 mins.and it will be sufficient Essay - A picture is given. We
have to write a small essay of what we think about that picture. Time just 10 mins. So total Written test time 65 mins.

Interview panel has 3 members + 1 HR Concentrated more on C++ oop concepts. Also asked questions on : Operating
system principles, Data Structures DBMS Perl basics, PHP, MySql, Asked about real life problem and asked to write a
program for it in 5 mins. Total it went on for 1 hour 30 mins. Not an easy one.

No separate HR round. HR sat beside the 3 members of technical panel during the interview. After technical round they
asked about DEShaw company which is not a separate round.

Please read each and everything in core subjects of our curriculam.And please be good on projects which u will be put in
resume and database you are using. If you studied hard u will definitily crack DEShaw. ALL THE BEST .....

Before going to interview ,i felt difficulty but later i was very happy with that.Because they interviewed in a nice way so
that i reduced my tension and perform correctly. My interview was around 1 hour and 30 mins which is longer one but i
did not feel any difficulty and boring during interview. They checked my depth in subjects which i liked most.
