The test had questions on English and Maths alongwith some of the technical questions.

The topic of GD was ' Alternative Source Of Energy'.

Technical:- Mine was on drilling technology. Questions were fired like use of BOP, setting depth of casings, directional drilling, drilling rigs and use of drilling bits.

HR:- Tell me about yourself.

2 in BG and Cairn.

Prepare HR questions and dont leave them as to be tackledat the situation.
In my branch, I think key of success is thorough understanding of the subject, keep your basics right.
Be confident.

There was an aptitude test followed by GD and PI.
There were 10 applicants in PI round, out of which 4 were selected. I was 8th among the applicants.
I think what worked in my favour were confident answers on the technical questions, also I analysed reasons for my failure in the last interview.
