Asked Qs abt Iron-Carbon diagram, Blast furnace & its reactions,Comp of ores of Fe, COREX, MIDREX, Gas based reduction processes, Steel Making, Ore details in Orissa, Which is a better reducing agent in the BF?... Why Metallurgy???, Why Essar???, Locational Preference if any was askd by d panel...Overall it was a very satisfying interview & after a gruelling 2 days 13 were selected frm my insti out of 130 students... I was d lucky ones among d 13 ppl...
