Pattern of Written Test

Aptitude Test : -- 55Minutes -- 60Questions

Aptitude paper:There were three sections
(1)Reasoning paper was easy but little bit time consuming.Time management was key part for solving the paper.As far as I remember the reasoning question consists of following sections-
(a)Number series
(b)find out odd figure
(c)syllogism
(d)Data sufficiency
(e)Coding decoding
(f)Blood Relation

Verbal section:-(a)Two comprehension-In each paragraph there were five question
(b)Fill in the blanks-5 question(Article,preposition,Adverb)
(c)Sentence correction-5 question

Quant section:-(a)Time and work
(b)profit and loss
(c)Time and distance
(d)simple and compound interest
(e)Number system
(f)Percentage
There was a sectional cut-off(Reasoning-15,Quant-7,Verbal English-12) for each section.No negative marking.

Pattern of Group Discussion

The selected students were divided into three groups.I was in group2.We were given a topic-"Tuition should be band".The time alloted was 25 minute for each group.
GD was also a elimination round in capgemini.From GD round in my group out of 14 students 9 students were selected for interview.
If any one who is little bit weak in GD,dont worry but you should follow all rules(proper dress sens,body language,eye contact) then selection in GD is very easy. The confidence level of student was at stake.

GPA criteria

BTECH-6.0
No criteria regarding 10th,12th......

Technical Interview

In Technical interview very basic question related to C, Networking,DS,DBMS. you should have good knowledge about your project.
Technical Questions:-
(1)What is RDBMS?
(2)What is difference between Ring topology and mesh topology?
(3)Write a C program to display all prime number between 1-100.
(4)What is difference between C and C plus plus?
(5)What is data structure?
(6)What project you have done?(Guys project is very very important.You should be master in your project)
Confidence is key point of any interview.If u don't know the answer then you should not worry.They will also see that how u r behaving in stress situation.

HR Interview

Interview is totally a personality test.They will asset your personality.In 30 minutes you have try to convey the intervier what kind of man or woman you are.you know you are a honorable person,you know you are an honest man or woman.you should give an impression that you are a man or woman who is suitable for this position.Interview itself is an art. Accurate and very pressing reply is essential in interview. Interview is not a question answer session.
HR Questions:-
(1)Tell me something about your self
(2)why you want to join my company?
(3)why i should hire you?
(4)what is your strong and weak point?
(5)Ok prem have u any question? Then i asked a question...
(6) prem (smiling face)now u may leave nd wait f4 ur result...
(7)ME:- thank u sir...Nice to talk with u...
HR: ok then see u in capgemini.......That was my happiest moment
Guys eye contact and confidence is very very important in interview.

Other

Suggestion

(1) Never try to bluff in interview.
(2) Prepare for written test as much as possible.
(3)Be yourself and while answering any question think for five seconds.Don't reply without thinking.
(4)When you fell nervous or anxious,take a deep breath to control your anxiety.
(5)Be confident during the interview.There might be the case where more than one person would be asking questions simultaneously. They will create a stress situation. At this point just maintain eye contact with every body and don't panic.
At the end if they will ask you that if you want to ask any question to them do prepare two or three questions to ask them.

Out of 500(approx) students 84 cleared aptitude test. After GD 54 students selected for next round.Finally 50 were selected nd i was one of them.
My confidence,10th,12th marks nd my knowledge was my key point.Apart from educational background extra curricular activities helped me allot .
