The technical paper covered the following topics (1)Geotech (2)Transportation (3)Environmental (5)Structures (6)Civil Engg materials, the questions were very basic in nature so we need to have an overall idea on the basics of all the subjects studied so far.

The verbal paper contains all the objective type of questions regarding synonyms,antonyms,appropriate usage of words,jumbled words ,reading comprehension, this is almost similar to the CAT verbal part,
So its better to prepare for verbal through CAT material.

GD is a technique adopted by the panel to analyse our leadership skills ,team building skills,even they observe our Emotional status.Its better to attend mock GDs if there is a chance or else practise among friends so that we won't feel tense during interviews.Topic is given and 2 min time will be given just note down the vague points coming into the mind and try to phrase meaning full sentences once the discussion starts never change your opinion ans stick to what you have started do not wait for the turn ,take the chance and handle the opponents gently, never try to shout or yell at others , do not think of language just express your views and try to finish meaningfully.

(5)Questions on IS codes (800,456,Sp-16,32 etc..)
(6)Questions on summer industrial training and any projects if done.

*Be thorough with basics of all the civil engg subjects (even civil engg materials ,environmental engg etc)
*Better to develop analytical ,logical thinking to attempt apti paper and fair enough of verbal ability .
*Practise to HR interview questions like tell about yourself , why do you choose this company
*Never write about any false information in CV.
*Give them confidence that you can do whatever the company needs and you can work in any part of the country.

WE need to be honest,show our interest, be free from tension and ready to handle any question cheerfully and tell what ever we know confidently .
