for tcs criteria was 60% in in your academic career till date and 2 yr gap allowed.

Few technical questions mostly on dbms and java. he asked me about my hobbies and computer games that i have played so far.

For me the first question asked by hr was my introduction.and then he started screwing me as i had a year gap between 12th and degree.he asked me reason for that gap.then he started with

before going for this company if u r having any year gap than make sure that u should be able to give answer such that hr get convinced.don't tell hr that i was preparing for iit and other entrance as this will reflect negative of urself.

around 200 students applied for this job in campus out of which around 75 students finally got selected. my performance in the technical round was good which i think helped me for final selection.
