minimum gpa was 6 with a maxm of 2 backlogs..year gap of more than 2 yrs was not allowed..
Students having above 75% marks in 10th 12th n b tech were eligible for direct interview...i belonged to that category..hence had no written test

Since my interviewer was from a mechanical background,he dint ask me any questions on C or C++..So i wa asked from electrical engineering itself..the questions were..
1)Describe your project
i had done my project frm NTPC Farakka..explaind him nicely.
2)what are differences between an ac nd dc circuit??
ans..told.
3)can electrical energy be stored???

1)tell me sumthng about urself
2)what are your hobbies??(since i had mentioned multiple hobbies,i was askd about each and evry1 of them)
3)do u belive in team work??
4)if a core company hires u,would u prefer a softwre cmpny den?
5)I was given a real life situation of 5 people working as a team and having different talents. i was asked as to how will i manage evry1 from some1's point of view...dis was d trickiest question
6)would u like to increase your qualifications??if yes,wat would it be?

Guyzz,,be confident..while in an interview,maintain eye contact with the other person..this is very very important...
Never bluff..if u r caught,they will never select you
Answer to the point..
If u dont know the answer to a question,just say softly dat i cnt recall sir..
If these things r done,i am sure your interview is going to be one worth remembering...good luck guyzzz

If my performance is to be considered,i guess my good knowledge about my project,a good overall career,extra curricular activities and effective communication skills did the trick..
