Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
In written test mainly they will check your numerical ability like mathematics , some aptitude question's and then
technical knowledge.
Technically you must be strong enough to crack the written test .
Aptitude question's are bit easy ,but don't forget to see coordinate geometry once before exam.

It was most eliminated round,For me it last for one hour.
Two member panel will be there and they focus mainly on your M.tech level project and then some preference will
be given for B,tech project also.First thing you should be confident and you must know all relavent data about your
project.
After that they will check your subject knowledge
starting from Engineering mechanics to automobile engineering
please go through manufacturing and design subjects.
you should have overall knowledge on mechanical engineering subjects
if possible please learn GDNT(Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance)
Design for manufacturing
Thermal engineering concepts.
Be strong in Fundamentals.
Be confident and stick to your answer either it is wrong or right.

Once you get selected in technical ,HR will call you for personnel interview.
it will be about 30 to 40 minutes.
Obviously first question will be tell me about your self?
about your schooling and achievements
likes and dislikes in you
do you know Hindi or not?
how can you adjust in Pune?
for all the question's you should answer politely and confidently and with smile face.

Please don't be nervous.
Be cool and be positive
Don't show overconfidence and over buildup before panel members.
And don't say that i was interested in doing PhD.
they will ask whether you are interested in design or analysis ,say your area of interest and reason for that.

For me technical round was last about 60 minutes
HR round 40 minutes.
they are very friendly and very cool.
initially i felt some nervous but once you started answering questiones you will completely out of that stage you can
feel free.
i answered only what i know.
if i don't know the answer straight away i said i don't know with some expressions and with convincing tone.
I am very confident about the result finally i succeed and i am very happy.
