Following questions were asked to me:
1.What is CRDi written at the back of many cars?
2.Describe the Rankine cycle.
3.Why the condenser pressure in a steam power plant is maintained at vacuum?
4.What is the effect on work done if condenser pressure is maintained at a lower value?
5.What are bearings used for?
6.What are the different kinds of bearings?
7.What are the functions of lubricating fluid used in bearings?
8.What is the basic difference between petrol engine and diesel engine?

Following questions were asked by the HR panel:
1.Tell us about yourself.
2.He asked me about the current affairs of my domicile place.
3.What car I would like to buy as of now?

Be clear of the basics of particularly the following subjects:
1.Thermodynamics.
2.Heat transfer.
3.Fluid mechanics and Hydraulic machines.
4.IC Engines.
Study in details about pumps and turbines and other equipments that are used in a refinery.Give a nice first
impression by telling about yourself.Its better to frame some common HR questions beforehand.

The interview was mainly technical. Questions were asked by all the panel member one after the other. But at the
very beginning they asked me about myself and in between asked me about my home town which helped me relax
myself mentally.The panel members looked very calm and friendly which also helped a lot.Overall it was thrilling.
