The next stage to the written test was technical interview. I had to write the test in the afternoon batch and so, it was around 6 in the evening when I went for the tech interview. The HR who was for me, already interviewed around 7 students from EEE, he did not want to ask anything regarding my subject. He asked if it would bother me if he swapped me with someone else. Then he took my resume in his hand and started with tell me about yourself. I was like telling about myself in a braggy way. As soon as I completed, he took a look at my resume and said
HR: “In the way you told me about urself, I expected ur CGPA to be like some 8.0. Why is it too low?” (I’ve a CGPA of only 6.7575)
Me: “I have always consistently performed well in all the semester. But I dunno why it does not reflect on my marks”
HR: “when u say u perform well, it will definitely be on ur score card. But I see only 6.5 in all the sem.”
Me: “no sir, I have scored 7.5 in a sem”
He takes that mark sheet and sees it.
HR: “Fine. Tell me about ur key strengths?”
Me: “I am a hard worker and I complete the works assigned to me with great dedication and with the perfection to my fullest level”
HR: “Are you currently working on some projects?”
Me: “Yes sir, I am currently doing my final year project.”
HR: “could you brief about it?”
Me: “it is a project in which, wireless transfer of electricity and be done using a method called as evanescent wave coupling. The current technology offers only 2 feet. But we are trying to extend it upto 2 to 3 meters.”
*and he asked me few questions about data structures. Linked lists.
HR: “I am going to give u a problem to see ur problem solving skills”
He took a paper and drew a 3X3 matrix
_ _ _
_ _ _
_ _ _
Fill it with numbers from 1 to 9. In whatever way I add it, the answer should be 15.
I took some 4 attempts. But I finally solved it.
2 9 4
7 5 3
6 1 8
Add it in whatever way, u will end up with total 15.
Then he asked me how I solved it. I explained him the solution.
I guess he was really impressed in the way I solved it and said “great show man”. I felt really honoured :)
And then the interview was over.
The interview took place for over 20 mins.
CpjJwWHV in this technical they ask u in favorite subject's questions or ask mix up questions(they ask u what is ur favorite subject or not)

CpjJwWHV It is based on the mood of the HR. Mostly if u have specified area of interest in ur resume, they will ask u from that only . But fr IT companies be strong in comp papers and programming.
The time management is very essential in this aptitude. 170 questions and 80 mins gives us less than 30 secs for each question.
I will advice not to start with quantitative. English will be damn easy.
As always said, just proper communication skills and with proper English will do for aptitude.
Finally, if u dont know a particular answer in tech HR, never regret to say that u dont know. That will be better than u telling some irrelevant answers.
