Quantitative : 30 Minutes
Reasoning / Analytical : 30 Minutes

Details of types of questions asked in each of the sections:
25 questions were given in each section.So 50 questions must
be answered in 60 minutes.Time is not a big factor in this
test.This is the easiest apti test i have ever written.

Quant section:DI was included in this section(actually quant
was included in DI).4 sets of DI each consisting of 5 ques
were given.Remaining 5 ques are related to simple
equations,time and work,time and distance.

Reasoning section:All the questions are based on arranging a
group satisfying some conditions.Its very easy and can be
completed within given time.

There was only 1 round of technical interview.
Firstly i must thank my interviewer for making me feel

comfortable by asking questions like:
How do your friends call you?
Tell me about yourself?
Then started technical interview.C,C++ and DS are covered.

From C:
1)Write a code to find the length of a string without using
string function.
2)Write a code to find the LCM of 2 numbers.I have explained
general method which takes long time for large numbers.
So he asked to give an alternate method which takes less
time.
3)Code to find the last occurrence of a character in a given
string without using string functions.
If a string "abccabcad" is given then the last occurrence of
'c' in the string is 7.
Some other basic ques were asked.

From C++:Basic ques on class,object,polymorphism,etc were
asked.

From DS:
Deleting a node and inserting a node in a linked linked
list,stacks,queues,insertion sort and some basic ques.

He checked my apti score and started the interview.
Why SAMSUNG???I answered "bcoz its R&D........"
Why R&D???Have you done anything related to R&D in these 3
yrs???So think once before you answer and you should be well
prepared for every possible question that comes from your
answer.My project after 2nd year helped me to answer this
question.
Asked about my family background and any issues if i m given
posting at noida.

SUGGESTIONS TO JUNIORS
My very first suggestion is to be ready with the formal
dress,shoes,resume,file and everything required for an
interview.
Be strong in basics and you should be able to apply them.Be
cool in the interview and give confident answers with a smile
on your face.It makes the interviewer feel that you are not
tensed.
Important stage in the selection process is apti test.So
prepare well in summer after 3-2.As companies like
Microsoft,Amazon,Adobe,DE Shaw&Co are coming for selection in
the first and second weeks of 4-1,you must be ready with
everything by that time.

I completed the apti in 30 mins.It was easy and it would be
very easy for the one who is preparing for CAT.I was sure
that i would be shortlisted for interview after the apti and
felt the same after the technical interview.Finally i was
selected and i am very happy.
