28 sat for online test, 11 were shortlisted. Then 3 were eliminated in GD round. Then after interviews, 3 people were finally selected.

I dont have an idea of my rank among the applicants.

1.) Projects done after 2nd & 3rd Year... and their details
2.) Trainings done... with detail

3.) About family background.
4.) Area of interest..
5.) About my indulgence in extra-curricular activities such as class representative, member of placement committee etc, as to why i am involved in them.
6.) Why do i want to join TATA Motors (I explained in detail about the company, its products and policies, its achievements etc)

1.) Be confident... talk without hesitation, even if that means being slow.
2.) Have a good command over all the work u have done.. like projects and interns
3.) Read the company profile thoroughly before sitting for the interview
4.) For the online exam (which didnt have negative marking)... if u dont know the answers, chose the most probable one, dont leave it blank... it wouldn't give u extra time as time per question is fixed.
5.) In the online exam, there were some vocabulary questions also, so be in touch
6.) Dress up nicely, in uniform or formals, it is important
7.) Show eagerness to join the company
8.) Have an answer for every question that can be asked about the contents of ur resume.

Maybe my confidence.... I was not nervous... I was good in the GD also... So the HR was convinced about communication skills and didnt ask much...

Also, all the projects or interships that I had done, I answered all the question & did not go silent on any question.

The crucial question (maybe) was why I want to join TATA Motors...

Though, they did not give any expressions as to they liked my interview or not... I was guessing till i got the confirmation
