Topic of my group was " Correlation between education and success". There were 4 groups in total. Others had topics on current affairs. I was the best in my group as I proved myself the leader of the group as in the concluding statements each member was seen buying my point of arguement.
There was no separate HR interview. All the interested students had been given a from to fill up their aspirations,reasons for joining TATA motors etc. a day befor they appeared for the aptitude test.

In total a huge lot of 190 students from Mechanical, Production, Electrical and ETCE streams applied for this Auto Giant, but only 9 managed to clear the grinding selection process. I was the only student from production engg. stream to get the job. A lot of factors worked for me......A 9+ GPA, immaculate GD, confidence, sound technical skills, strong aptitude skills as the aptitude questions were quite tricky given the time limitation of 45 seconds for each question. And last but not the least my good luck on that day really helped me to get my dream job...it was a dream run for me.
